A couple of weeks back I was invited to attend the Basel House Mural Festival sponsored by Sprint, thanks to the South Florida Bloggers. At the event, we met the man of the hour Ruben Ubiera, the artist who painted the beautiful yellow mural pictured. According to Ubiera, “Connections” is about celebrating freedom, community, and connections. I absolutely love how the yellow color pops out at you.

At the event, they had a screen printing station where they were making Sprint goodie bags for us. We were able to see the whole process, which was really cool!
We also got to try yummy alcoholic ice cream, provided by Sweet Melody Icecream.
There was also a graffiti station where we got to make our own graffiti. I didn’t join, but I watched from the sidelines.

Sprint gave us goodie bags full of cool swag. One of the items was this really neat phone grip made of recycled wood from Hurricane Irma. It says Florida Strong and I love that!
Thanks to the South Florida Bloggers, I was able to attend this cool event. ❤
